With onset typically in the middle teens, Social Phobia is a fear of appearing clumsy, silly, or shameful and of having this behavior observed by others. People have the feeling that everyone is watching them, staring at him or her, being critical. This anxiety can be so painful that you avoid other people and social situations.
Symptoms include blushing, hoarseness, tremor and perspiration.
